Candace has over 25 years of experience in public accounting, including experience in banking, nonprofit and other business services providing accounting, payroll, human resources and tax services. In 1992, she started Avis Accounting and Income Tax Professionals PLLC, a full service CPA firm in Colorado Springs. Her business specialized in small business accounting, entity setup, payroll, income tax preparation and planning. Candace now works for Pikes Peak Financial Group as a CPA. She has been consulting with the SBDC since 2017.
